Each candle was first painted separately with professional grade watercolors on Arches cotton watercolor paper. It was then cut out with a craft knife, and the cut paper edges were painstakingly finished with dark watercolor paint.
About This Listing
Inspired by the Civil Rights anthem "This Little Light of Mine," this listing is for one of four unique original papercut ACEOs featuring a chamberstick candle painted, cut, and assembled by hand.
Each candle was first painted separately with professional-grade watercolors on Arches cotton watercolor paper. It was then cut out with a craft knife, and the cut paper edges were painstakingly finished with dark watercolor paint. Finally, the miniature cut-out was mounted to a 3.5x2.5 inch piece of 300gsm handmade cotton rag paper with deckled edges. Select the one you want from the menu above. Each piece is signed by the artist in the bottom right-hand corner. This is an unframed original miniature painting, not a print.
