The result is a fast neck, a balanced acoustic ring, and switching that lands useful sounds without fishing.
A maple top over a mahogany back supplies the familiar PRS mix of snap and warmth. The asymmetrical bevel carved top removes unneeded mass and gives the right forearm a natural anchor. Scale length is 25 inches for the trademark PRS tension balance, and the patented PRS tremolo sits low to the body for predictable return to pitch when set up flush. It is a unit you can actually use, not just stare at.
The neck is mahogany carved to Pattern Thin. It keeps wrist angles relaxed for position shifts and wide stretches. A rosewood fingerboard with a 10-inch radius carries 24 frets and the Birds inlay set. Nut width measures 1 11/16 inches, which keeps string spacing familiar if you are coming from other 24 fret platforms.
