Enkele van de beste Zuid-Afrikaanse wijnen hebben we te danken aan wijnhuis Avondale. Al meer dan 300 jaar produceren de wijngaarden hier geweldige druiven. Bodem is leven; dat is de spreuk waar wijnhuis Avondale zich aan vasthoudt. De bodem is de basis waarop de druiven zich ontwikkelen en daar moet je je volgens de wijnmakers aan vasthouden. De natuurlijk ecosystemen worden daarom benut en gerespecteerd. Ze gaan bij Avondale volledig biodynamisch te werkt, wat een gunstig effect heeft op het microklimaat in de wijngaard. Alles staat in het teken van moeder natuur. De druiven profiteren van het warme weer maar het water wat van de bergwatervallen naar beneden stroomt zorgt voor een natuurlijk afkoeling van de druiven. Cyclus verwijst naar de spiraal die gevonden wordt in elk aspect van de natuur en staat voor kracht en dynamiek. De druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst en als hele trossen geperst. Vervolgens wordt het sap op natuurlijke wijze gefermenteerd in eikenhouten vaten. 15 tot 20 procent wordt als hele trossen gefermenteerd, wat de wijn een unieke body en lengte geeft. Na de gisting wordt de wijn 12 maanden op de droesem bewaard. Deze prachtige Cyclus van Avondale heeft een zachte rijke neus met aroma’s van viooltjes en perzik. Dit wordt prachtig doorgevoerd in de mond waar de intense smaken van peer, ananas, abrikoos en vijg worden afgerond met zacht, subtiel eikenhout voor een romige afdronk met een lange structuur.Shipping Notes

Good aroma

I bought this set of soaps out of curiosity and I was surprised. The three scents—leather, sandalwood, and teakwood—are warm and masculine without being heavy. They lather well, leave the skin clean and soft, and haven't dried me out like other men's soaps.
The scrub has a nice texture, ideal for use after the gym, and the other two are gentler for daily use. The size is somewhat small, but each bar lasts quite a bit. Overall, a good option if you like to smell good and take care of your skin without complicating things.

Works great and Fig scent smells amazing- generously sized travel body wash~

I am so used to seeing tiny travel sized toiletries at hotels and that's what I was expecting when I ordered this set. I was pleasantly surprised at how large each bottle is- 3.4 ounces apiece. Grab something out of your bathroom that is 3.4 ounces if you want to compare- but I have actually ordered lotions and body products that are supposed to be full size and they are 3.4 ounces. It's really nice because one of the reasons I tend to pack full size shampoos/conditioners/body wash/ etc. in my luggage on a week- long trip is because the travel sizes never actually last a full week and then you're stuck either using the generic products at the hotel or trying to find somewhere to buy something. This 3.4 ounce size should be enough to last a full week, maybe longer, depending on how much you use each day.
I ordered the Fig scent and it is amazing. Fig is basically just a fruity scent so I'd say the fragrance is unisex and therefore this travel body wash could be used by men or women- that's nice because if your wife/girlfriend/sister/etc needs to use it, they can use it without feeling like they have to walk around smelling like a man. It is a fruity scent but it's not too bright like lemon or orange- it feels more sophisticated.
The body wash seems a bit pricey but it's really nice and thick. It doesn't seem to be watered down or diluted like a lot of body washes, so you can use it sparingly. That's also nice for getting more longevity out of a travel sized product. Since the manufacturer didn't dilute it with water and make it thin/ runny, you can use it more sparingly and add water to it yourself. That makes it last even longer which is important when you're traveling for awhile.
It works as a great cleanser and lathers up really well, especially with a body poof. It left my skin feeling soft and clean so no issues there. I would highly recommend it. 5 stars!
