Het familieverhaal van De Bortoli begint 90 jaar geleden. Beginnend met Vittorio en Giuseppina De Bortoli, twee immigranten die het goed maken in een geadopteerd land door hard te werken, innovatie en de steun van familie en vrienden. Vanaf het bescheiden begin met het maken van kleine hoeveelheden droge tafelwijn, voornamelijk voor mede-Europese immigranten, breidde De Bortoli Wines zich uit onder leiding van Vittorio en Giuseppina's energieke zoon Deen en zijn vrouw Emeri. Hun vier kinderen - Darren, Leanne, Kevin en Victor - sloten zich aan bij het familiebedrijf en ontwikkelden De Bortoli's reputatie voor premium wijn, eerst door de iconische dessertwijn Noble One en vervolgens door het succes van de koele klimaatwijnen die geproduceerd werden op het Yarra Valley Estate van de familie. De druiven zijn afkomstig van verschillende wijngaarden uit Heathcote. De oude rode Cambrische bodems van Northern Heathcote zijn ideaal voor donkerfruitige, dikke rode Shiraz. De wijngaarden zijn zorgvuldig geselecteerd op een balans tussen vruchtgewicht en rijpheid. De druiven worden streng geselecteerd om de perfecte kwaliteitswijn te krijgen. Het sap fermenteert gedurende 6 tot 8 dagen bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van 25 tot 30 graden. Tot slot rijpt de wijn 8 maanden in eikenhouten vaten. De Woodfired Heathcote Shiraz kleur dieprood in het glas met een paarse fonkeling. Direct komt de sterke aroma’s van donker fruit, venkel, olijvenkruiden en donkere chocolade vrij. Is Milo allergic to pig ears?
Flavor Name: Pig Ear, Size: 10 Count (Pack of 1)
Milo sniffed the pig ear, paused, and then took it to his spot to eat it. A few minutes later he started rubbing his head on the floor. I also bought the cow ears and he ate them with no problem. I’ve snuck him the occasional piece of bacon so I don’t think he’s allergic to pork. I love and trust Nature Gnaws.

Great quality!

I do not review items very often, but after considering that I have ordered these no less than 30 times, I decided it was time. I have four dogs who absolutely love them, so I go through them pretty quickly. They are generally very large, with occasionally one smaller one in the bag. These are the best price/quantity pigs ears I have been able to find. Each bag has eight ears. My dogs range in size from a (very food-motivated) mini dachshund to a pit bull, so the treats are good for any size. I order them for my sister’s and my boyfriend’s dogs, and my boyfriend breaks them in half to give to his dog if you don’t want them to have the whole one all at once. Would highly recommend!

Best pigs ears on the market!
Size: Slivers (1.8 Pounds)
These are the best and biggest pigs ears on the market. I give my dogs 1 per day and they know exactly when it’s coming. They are, by far, their favorite treat. They’re not too stinky or greasy.

Happy dogs
Size: Whole Ears (Pack of 80)
I have two rescue dogs and one of them is a unrelenting 'I'm chewing everything in sight' pitbull. I've had her for a year and she is now three years old . I know this aggressive chewing will stop as she grows older but for now I find any snack that will keep her busy . I have bully sticks which are quite expensive and doesn't last as long as it should.I bought this 100 pack pig ears and of course they love it but it also takes her about the same amount of time to finish it as a 12 inch bully stick, which is a win in my book. These ears are cheaper than bully sticks and are healthier than rawhide chews . These pig ears come in different sizes but most of them are huge where I'm in need to search for a smaller one for my other dog since she is 50 lbs and not 80 lbs like my pitbull. If you need ones that are sliced smaller , then you're in luck because they also sell one with mixed whole and slices. I got the whole ears and I am very happy with the quality of them. It was sent in a sealed plastic bag within a box. Once opened there is no way to reseal them so be prepared to repackage or as I did, put them in a airtight container like the ones I use for their dog food.
Hope this helps other dog lovers keep their doggos happy
