Boom met schitterende bladeren

Deze Zwarte tupeloboom boomsoort moet het hebben van zijn fraaie ovale bladeren. De jonge bladeren zijn oranjerood tot rood van kleur. Deze steken fraai af tegen de donkergroene achtergrond van de volwassen bladeren (glanzend). Ook in de herfst worden de bladeren weer oranjerood tot donkerrood en zelfs paars van kleur. De exacte kleuren hangen af van uw bodemsoort.

De Zwarte tupeloboom bloeit onopvallend groen in de herfst, gevolgd door blauw-zwarte vruchtjes.
