De snelgroeiende witte wilg heeft diverse benamingen zoals schietwilg, gewone wilg, knotwilg (op stam) en de internationale naam Salix Alba. Deze knotwilg 'Salix Alba' draagt veel bij aan de natuur en groeit goed op vochtige bodems langs een sloot.

De jonge takken van deze inheemse wilg zijn geelbruin en goed te buigen voor bijvoorbeeld schuttingen, borderranden en manden maken. Medio april komen de bladeren en gele katjes. Het blad is grijs/witviltig en smal lancetvormig. De Salix Alba groeit goed aan of nabij het water, maar ook op andere plekken. Deze hoogstam boom of heester groeit zowel in de zon en schaduw en staat in grote tuinen of landgoederen.

Wist u dat... wij ook losse wilgentenen takken verkopen? Deze zijn reeds gekapt (zijtakjes weggehaald) en dus direct te gebruiken om te vlechten als schutting of verhoogde moestuinbak van natuurlijke materialen.

Online knotwilg Salix Alba kopen en laten bezorgen

Ontdek het gemak van online knotwilgen bestellen voor uw tuin. Deze hoogstam knotwilg leveren wij in stamomtrek 6-8 cm tot 12-14 cm en diverse hoogtes graag vakkundig bij u thuis. Bestel meteen een boompaal, aanplantgrond en gietranden er bij.

Wilgentenen vlechten

Van deze wilgentakken vlecht u bijvoorbeeld een schutting, moestuinbak of ander vlechtwerk. Voor het vlechten adviseren wij 1-2 cm dikte takken. Gebruik dikkere takken als staanders of vlecht om 6 cm doorsnee kastanjepalen.

Druk de takken steeds goed aan en werk om en om. Dus eerst de dikke kant links en dan weer rechts. Voorkom te scherpe bochten (dan knappen de wilgentakken) en knip de takken altijd schuin af. Laat bij voorkeur uw schutting van wilgentenen begroeien met klimplanten voor een langere levensduur.

PS. Wist je dat de Salix 'Matsudana x alba' de snelst groeiende boom ter wereld is, die zo'n 3 meter per jaar groeit.

Soon as this launcher arrived I went outside with the dogs to try it out. Long story short: This is a great fetch toy. I am able to launch the ball pretty far with little to no effort, and picking the ball back up is as easy as grabbing it with my own hand. And if other products can launch the ball farther, so what? How far is far enough? Is your dog going to throw a fit because it went 40 meters instead of 50? No. They will not. For anyone upset this toy doesn't launch far enough, ask yourself this: Is the toy for their dog? Or the human who bought it? The bottom line is this: It feels like it's built to last, it's inexpensive, and it does what it is supposed to do. So long as a toy is "good enough" I don't see the point in splitting hairs and trying to determine which fetch toy is the absolute best. Saying it's good enough is a bit misleading though. I can't imagine how a dog toy like this could be any better. It's a must-have for any dog owner. Unfortunately, only one of my pups likes to fetch...
