Background

SPTB (Spectrin Beta Chain, Erythrocytic) is one of the key proteins in the erythrocyte skeleton and belongs to the spectrin family. It is mainly composed of multiple spectrin repeating units, which form a flexible α-helical structure, giving SPTB a high degree of elasticity and mechanical stability. SPTB binds to α-spectrin (SPTA1) to form a heterodimer, which is further assembled into a tetramer, forming the main reticular structure of the erythrocyte skeleton, maintaining the morphology and mechanical strength of erythrocytes, enabling them to withstand shear forces in blood circulation. In addition, SPTB also stabilizes the cell membrane and regulates the mechanical properties of the cell membrane by interacting with other skeleton proteins such as ankyrin, actin, and protein 4.1. SPTB gene mutations can lead to hemolytic anemia diseases such as hereditary spherocytosis because they affect the integrity and function of the erythrocyte skeleton. SPTB is also expressed in non-erythrocytes and participates in processes such as cell morphology maintenance, cell migration, and signal transduction.

My dog LOVES this tiny tug ball
Size: Medium(6")
A lot smaller than I was expecting.. BUT my dog doesn’t mind at all. She seriously loves this thing. It goes flat fairly quickly, but that’s what happens with all of her soccer balls, no matter the size. She’s a pitbul catahoula mix and has a strong bite. Considering my dogs chewing abilities, I’m fairly impressed by the durability of the ball, though she chewed through all but one of the rope handles in about 2 seconds. All that said, it’s one of her favorite toys(she’s 13 years old)

Keeps the puppy entertained for hours
Size: X-Large(8")
My dog loves this. I've had to buy two because my dog destroyed the first one but there's only so much you can do with a 5 month old german shepard.

Not durable and lasted a week
Size: X-Large(8")
Had it a week and it popped. The durability is not good! It’s not chew resistant, the value for the money is poor! My dogs enjoyed it for the week it lasted it was a good size , however extremely disappointed!
