Background
IFNA13, or Interferon Alpha-13, is a member of the type I interferon (IFN) family, a group of cytokines crucial for innate immunity against viral infections. It signals through the shared IFNAR1/IFNAR2 receptor complex to activate the JAK-STAT pathway.
