Watercolour illustrations bring each dish to life, while plenty of additional thoughtful touches—such as Chinese characters on each heel and also an embroidered copper coin—call attention to other facets of Eastern culinary tradition. Chinese characters then take the place of the customary "Nike" heel stitching. The exterior of the Nike Dunk Low Street Hawker is a work of art within itself, featuring asymmetrical watercolours on a canvas, leather, and suede structure.
