Touch Interface

The techie in your house will love the Touchscreen controls, which give the machine a sleek silhouette and are easily wiped clean. The smooth digital dial allows you to quickly dial to the speed you want. The available speeds are 1-10, but each also has a half speed, which effectively means you have 19 speeds from which to choose. Or select one of the 5 pre-programmed buttons and walk away.

5 Program Settings

Five program settings ensure walk-away convenience and consistent results. The included programs are Smoothie, Frozen Dessert, Soup, Dips and Spreads, and Self-Clean. Each of these programs is optimally set for time and speed. For each of the programs, just add your ingredients, press the program button, and walk away. The Ascent does the rest!

Built-In Wireless Connectivity

The motor base automatically reads the container size you've placed on it. Using NFC (near-field communication), it senses and adjusts to the container size, ensuring that a small bit of baby food made in an 8 oz container blends for a shorter time than a full batch in the 64 oz container. This is an added safety feature, as well. The motor (and thus, the blades) will not engage unless an appropriate container has been placed on the motor base. The Ascent also has Bluetooth for other uses in the near future, including the Perfect Blend Smart Scale.

Programmable Timer

You've created an original recipe, and it must be blended exactly 39 seconds - no more, no less. Oh the pressure! Not any more. The programmable timer lets you set the exact number of seconds you want, and then the machine turns itself off when it reaches that time. Pure genius!

Pair with Any Self-Detect Containers

This Vitamix Ascent A3500 Blender for sale comes with a low profile 64 oz container with a clear lid, which allows you to see your blend from any angle. You can also get 20 oz and 8 oz containers for smaller jobs. The 20 oz. container is perfect for smoothies on the go. And the 8 oz containers are great for small batches like salad dressing and baby food. Both the 20 oz and the 8 oz containers use the same blade assembly. All Ascent containers are BPA-free and dishwasher-safe. Note that the Ascent will not work with any previous containers you may have - the container must include the NFC chip.
