The first albums were in a similar landscape as what he was doing with industrial art-rock band Holy Toy, and his later works have veered into a wide range of territories, but in between all this we find his fourth album from 1992 -- The Black Death (titled Svartedauen in Norwegian) -- a decidedly darker creation. Inspired by Theodor Kittelsen's 1900 series of grim drawings depicting The Black Death's 1349 ravaging of Norway, The Black Death is a highly sophisticated 38-minute musique concrète sound-collage that mixes elements of manipulated traditional Norwegian folk music (such as the eerie Hardanger fiddle) with sounds of horses whining, rats gnawing, wood grinding, and people moaning. Musically, it fits somewhere between Nurse With Wound's Dadaist studio experiments and Luc Ferrari's dramatic narrative environmental sound poems. Fans of Norwegian black metal will recognize the Kittelsen art from several Burzum album covers. The Black Death's release just happened to coincide with the church-burnings of the 1992 black metal summer, and Varg Vikernes, and a generation of young metal artists who would radically change the musical landscape of extreme metal forever, were big fans of this album. The Black Death incomparably evokes that feeling of doom and medieval dread that the black metal bands were attempting with croaked screams and distorted guitars around the same time. So if you're looking for the missing link between Arne Nordheim and Mayhem -- this is it. Pristine vinyl cut by Rashad Becker at Dubplates & Mastering in January 2015 and packaged in a gatefold sleeve featuring texts and interviews with and about Pedersen as well as a 12-page booklet of Kittelsen's drawings for Svartedauen. Good mit.
Pattern Name: 1 Tanning Mitt
It's that time of year where you start to need a tan. Since I'm not out in the sun much I totally rely on fake and bake. I needed a mitt that would easily apply sunless tanner. The Smith is soft and it does help the product go on nicely. However if you apply too much sunless tanner to the MIT it will soak through and without you knowing it you will have bronze to Orange Palms so just make sure you wash your hands thoroughly. It is definitely not the best MIT in the world but it's also not the worst. I would in fact purchase this again. But remember with also painters you must exfoliate exfoliate and prep the skin before applying it otherwise you will come out looking like a bright orange Sun. That is from personal experience.

Awesome self tanning mitt!

This self tanning lotion mitt is amazing! It works wonders when applying the self tanning lotion. It rubs all the product evenly into your skin. The mitt does not soak up the self tanner lotion like I was afraid it would. The mitt does not leave you with streaks or any imperfections. The self tanning mitt is also very soft and flexible which helps when applying product. The tanning mitt has almost a fleece, velvety, plush texture. VERY SOFT! Very easy to work with! I used a self tanning mitt and also tried applying self tanner with my bare hands, and with latex gloves and found the tanning mitt is the easiest to use and work with. Disposable gloves seemed impossible to work with and I felt like it wasn’t rubbing the product in easy but this mitt is a life savor! If you are a fan of self tanning products weather it’s a spray, lotion, mousse, you need to have a tanning mitt in your collection! You will thank me and the tanning people for this product! It’s truly AMAZING! The self tanning mitt comes with the Black mitt, and disposable gloves. I’ll definitely be using the tanning mitt when applying the sunlabs self tanning products!

Reliable!
Pattern Name: 1 Tanning Mitt
I don't normally use self-tanner, but having a mitt does make me more likely to, since it makes the process a little easier and cleaner. Very easy to use, I like the sleek black design with a loop to hang it from hooks to avoid mess! I've been testing this out for a couple weeks now and it's held up considerably well; the material hasn't lost its shape or taken any ugly creases. Washing is a breeze in the sink - I haven't tried in the washing machine yet, but I feel like it'd hold up. The mitt is not too thick, not too thin, product goes on smooth and even given that the material does the same with your self tanner that, say, a beauty blender would do with your foundation - it soaks up a little bit of product to make sure the overall application goes a long way, and keeps the whole surface looking smooth and even.

Absorbs your lotion
Pattern Name: 1 Tanning Mitt
Protects your hand and the application is smooth... BUT it absorbs SO MUCH PRODUCT!!! Like waists so much of your tanning lotion. I decided to stop using it and just wash my hands right after applying bc it isn’t worth how much lotion gets absorbed into the mitt & goes to waist.

Must have tanning mitt for easy and even self tanning!

If you use self tanner you NEED this mitt! The foam tanner came on so much easier and it's so much nicer having this mitt to apply product rather than trying to use gloves or just bare hands!
It applied so much more evenly and was very easy to use. It keeps your hands from getting stained and it's very easy to clean and use over and over.
This is my first mitt for tanning and as far as I'm concerned it will be my last... its perfect...feels like velvet and applies a perfectly even coat of the lotion.
It is also double sided and VERY soft. And two smaller ones that are great for smaller areas. So great for the price too. My tan looks so even and I have already gotten so many compliments. I am LOVING my glow.
Highly recommend!
