Rrose (Sandwell District, Eaux, Stroboscopic Artefacts) has found her own niche in the American techno underground. Her hypnotic tracks incorporate ideas from ambient and minimalist music as prominently as they do the history of dance music, operating in the same fruitful cross-section between techno and the abstract as many other Further Records releases. Rrose's debt to experimental music has never been more obvious than on September 20, 2012, when he performed legendary composer and electronic/computer music pioneer James Tenney's Having Never Written a Note for Percussion live in Washington, DC. The simple yet colossal piece requires the performer to play one percussive instrument constantly, taking it from the quietest point to the loudest and back again. Done well, it's a fascinating exploration of tone, volume, and decay, and a showcase for drone music's unusually transportive powers. Never Having Written a Note for Percussion has always been a personal favorite of Rrose's. He was inspired to try it out after touring Dupont Undergound, a performance space in a disused trolley tunnel beneath downtown DC, where the possibilities of "seemingly endless and unpredictable reverberations" seemed perfect for Tenney's composition. He made a 32-inch gong played with two mallets the central device of his performance, creating a towering leviathan of sound capable of the softest highs and the deepest lows. It's a vastness that comes across especially well on the live recording of that 2012 performance, a breathtaking 30 minutes that seems daunting at first but moves with a grace as easy as breathing. Rrose's take is almost definitive: not only does he stretch out the piece to 30 minutes beyond it's usual eight-to-12-minute duration, but, even more importantly, she offers two versions made in two very different settings. The A-side features a performance recorded in a studio during his practice sessions. Dry and mic'd up close, it's almost stuffy quality is the direct opposite of the live version, like it's coming from inside your head, where the live recording on the B-side surrounds you with the booming sound of the gong. Never Having Written a Note for Percussion is a powerful study not only in minimalist composition but the importance of the room and environment that a performance, or just pure sound, takes place in, and a potent example of the kind of experimental tendencies that make Rrose one of techno's more fascinating figures. Saved a few bucks for top quality!
I’m not a visual artist by any stretch, but I also hate not having every option at my disposal, so I bought this item used on here. The best $70 bucks I’ve ever saved. It didn’t come in an Apple box but it came in an Amazon box that was the size of an Apple box and it was padded and secure. The quality was as new as it would be coming from the Apple Store. It’s a pretty good device. It works well. I enjoy using it to make slight adjustments in my attempts to draw things and I do enjoy writing with it. Great weight and the haptics are on point when you use the options like squeezing it to change tools. It fits nicely on the top of the iPad with the magnet. Battery life has yet to drop below 95 even when I had it off the pad for a few days. I’m very happy with my purchase and I love the fact that I saved a few bucks by purchasing used.

Excellent Apple Pencil but make sure it works with the iPad you currently own!
I love the new pencil! The haptics in it are great! I originally had the 2nd gen pencil and needed a new one so I bought this one. When I got it, it wouldn’t sync to my iPad Pro 11 (4th gen) though. Apparently I didn’t read completely that it wouldn’t. However, because of this, my husband bought me the new iPad Pro (M5 chip) and the pencil works great with it! It syncs easily with the iPad and is easy to use.

Like new! Great deal and works perfectly
Looks and works like brand new! The magnetic charging is solid, and the response time is flawless. The pressure sensitivity and barrel roll features are game-changers for drawing. It was well-packaged and arrived super fast. Getting a Pencil Pro at this price is a steal—saved a lot compared to buying new. Definitely a great find!

Apple Pencil Pro… definitely an upgrade from the original Pencil and Pencil 2!
Purchased as an open‑box, like‑new item, and it arrived exactly as described. The box was opened but taped closed and the wrapper was still on the pencil. It didn’t have any charge out of the box, but as soon as I snapped it onto the side of my iPad, it synced instantly and worked right away. I charged it fully that first night and have been using it normally ever since. I’m using it with my 13” iPad Air M2, and it’s great. The double‑tap on the barrel to bring up the menu is super convenient, and everything works flawlessly. Zero issues so far. For basically half the price of a brand‑new one, this feels like an excellent buy and absolutely worth what I paid. Apple hardware is built well, the white looks nice and clean… I have no worries about longevity at all. Excellent product from Apple as usual.

Super easy to set up and start drawing
I was honestly shocked at how easy it was to connect it to my iPad. Opened the box and was expecting to see more inside of it, decided to see what happens when I put it up to my iPad and it connected instantly. Works great with my iPad m2 with touch sensitivity and spiral twist stuff in procreate. Really happy to not have to plug it in to charge. I’m planning to use this daily, so I needed to make sure it would actually feel good to hold in my hand and oh baby let me tell you, it does. It’s really smooth drawing wise, using it is intuitive. Fits on the iPad snug. I’d say give it a shot
