Athlon Midas BTR Gen2 HD 1-6x24 ATSR4 SFP IR MOACompetition 3 gun stages demand a scope that goes from 1x "both eyes open" speed to 6x precision in the time it takes to transition between targets. Competition 3-gun stages demand a scope that goes from 1x "both eyes open" speed to 6x precision in the time it takes to transition between targets. The Athlon Midas BTR Gen2 HD 1-6x24 ATSR4 pairs HD glass with the ATSR4 competition reticle in a compact, argon-purged package — purpose-built for shooters who need fast target acquisition at 1x and precise holdovers at 6x without spending flagship money.

The ATSR4 reticle was designed specifically for 3-gun competition with .223/5.56 NATO loads (68-69 grain BTHP). A 1.4 MOA illuminated center dot zeroed at 200 yards serves as the primary aiming point, with holdover dots calibrated for 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards. Wind compensation dots at each distance provide references for 5 and 10 mph crosswinds. At 1x, the scope functions as a true both-eyes-open optic with a wide 108 ft field of view — fast enough for close-range transitions and hosing targets at speed.

Key Features
  • HD Glass with Advanced Fully Multi-Coated Lenses — Low-dispersion HD elements reduce chromatic aberration, while the AFMC coating maximizes light transmission for bright, true-color images across the magnification range. XPL protective coating on exterior lenses guards against dirt, oil, and scratches.
  • ATSR4 Illuminated Reticle (SFP, MOA) — Purpose-built for 3-gun and tactical use with .223/5.56. Illuminated 1.4 MOA center dot, bullet drop holdovers to 600 yards, and wind dots for 5/10 mph — all calibrated for 68-69 grain match loads. Subtensions valid at 6x.
  • True 1x at the Low End — 108 ft field of view at 100 yards with both-eyes-open shooting capability. Fast enough for CQB stages, room entries, and snap shots on moving targets.
  • 18.1 oz, 10.6" Compact Profile — Light and short enough that it disappears on an AR-pattern rifle. The 30mm tube provides a solid mounting platform with widely available ring options.
  • Argon Purged — Premium gas purging provides superior fog-proof performance compared to nitrogen, maintaining a clear image through rapid temperature swings.
  • Capped Turrets with 0.25 MOA Clicks — Set your zero and forget it. 150 MOA total elevation and windage adjustment provides ample range for zeroing and base corrections.

Ideal For
  • 3-gun competitors who need a fast, clear LPVO that transitions from 1x close-range stages to 6x precision stages without changing optics — the ATSR4 reticle's .223 BDC takes the guesswork out of holdovers at competition distances.
  • AR-15 and tactical rifle builders who want an HD-glass LPVO with illuminated reticle at a price point well below the premium European brands — the Midas BTR Gen2 delivers glass quality that punches above its price class.
  • Home defense and patrol rifle setups where a true 1x with an illuminated center dot provides red-dot-like speed at close range, plus 6x magnification for positive target identification at distance.

For Professional Outdoors Folks, THIS WORKS!
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1), Style: SPF 50+
I am in the sun approximately 300 days a year and I have used everything available. I am on the water daily and there are only 2 products that 1) work and 2) stay on when wet; Blue Lizard and Doo's. Both have nutrients and moisturizers keeping your skin young. This stuff WORKS! Highly recommended.

Nice sunscreen
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Easy to rub in and spread compared to other mineral sunscreens. It goes on a bit white but will blend with lighter toned skin for the most part if you keep rubbing. Provides good sun protection when paired with other sun protection habits and applied regularly! Doesn’t stain fabrics

Better than many expensive options
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I am shocked at how good this mineral sunscreen is. I am a mineral sunscreen junkie and have so many expensive ($50+ a bottle) high end versions. I have fair/light combo skin and hate greasy, pasty sunscreen. This mineral sunscreen rubs in quickly and isn’t greasy. It out performs MANY high end sunscreens. I love that it has 19% zinc (substantial compared to some others) and is waterproof 80 mins. One thing I found interesting (and awesome) is that iron oxide is listed (last) in the ingredients, which means it has a *very* slight tint. Iron oxide is shown to help block visible/blue light which can be important to people like me with discoloration. This sunscreen is pretty robust for a “basic” drugstore brand. The color is more of a (very pale yellow almost?) off white, not stark white, I think due to the iron oxide listed. I wouldn’t call it tinted, but at least it’s better than paper white sunscreen. In comparison to other thick, heavy, greasy stark white mineral sunscreens, this one is a breeze to rub in! I cannot find anywhere if this sunscreen is nano or non nano, so that’s something to take into consideration if you care, which I really do not. If nano sunscreen is a big concern of yours I would reach out to banana boat to confirm. I purchased this so I don’t have to use my expensive face mineral sunscreens on my body but shockingly this may end up being my new favorite mineral face sunscreen. It isn’t drying on me personally (combo skin leaning oily) and it also wore fine under makeup. The finish is a soft satin after dried down. I’m pretty blown away! It preformed perfect at the pool, even in humidity. I will most likely repurchase. I’m glad to not have to repurchase the more expensive MDSolar science mineral sunscreen I was previously using on my body. I purchased with my own money no paid review! 10 out of 10 for the value and performance from me!!!

Good but left white cast on my skin
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Overall, I bought this because of the zinc oxide; it is very easy to use, no strong odor, non-sticky. However, it still left white cast on my face. (The intensity of the white cast is still lower compared to other more expensive brand.)
