Join us for one of Solvang Spice Merchant's immersive Spice Blending Workshops, held at a private garden property in downtown Solvang. Inspired by our popular spice blending experience featured at Alisal Guest Ranch's BBQ Bootcamp, these hands-on workshops invite guests to explore the fascinating world of spices, seasonings, and flavor creation.

Throughout the experience, our team will guide you through the origins, flavor profiles, and culinary uses of a wide variety of spices and seasonings. You'll discover how different flavors work together, how regional and cultural traditions influence spice blends, and how to create balanced, flavorful combinations for your own cooking.

Each workshop features a unique theme and flavor focus. Topics may include BBQ & Grilling, Global Flavors, Indian Cuisine, Holiday and Seasonal Blending, Regional Spice Traditions, and more. Whether you're an experienced home cook or simply curious about the world of spices, you'll leave with new knowledge, practical techniques, and a deeper appreciation for flavor.

Guests will create and take home several custom spice blends along with recipes, tips, and inspiration to continue experimenting in their own kitchens.

Workshops are held outdoors in a relaxed garden setting under canopy shade. Location details will be provided after booking. Please plan for changing weather conditions, including sun, wind, and temperature variations, and dress comfortably for an outdoor experience.

Space is limited and workshops will close automatically once fully booked.

Solvang Spice Merchant reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop for any reason. In the event of a cancellation by Solvang Spice Merchant, guests will receive a full refund.

Workshops may also be cancelled if minimum attendance is not met. If this occurs, registered guests will be notified and issued a full refund.

Due to limited seating and advance preparation, cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable.
