Unique Vintage Chippendale Style Bureau With Hand Painted Landscape And Floral Design

This stunning hand-painted Chippendale Queen Anne style bureau with a landscape and floral pattern on the side and top is really unique. The lovely painted landscape with a horse rider scenes on the front panel is utterly charming and unique, followed by floral drawings one the drawers and sides of the bureau.

This piece dates back from the 1930s and the construction is great with dovetail joints to the drawers. The fall front opens to reveal a neat little desk, ideal when working home and when closed, you have a beautiful sight of a landscape

Condition report:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, fading and stains to the top , further marks and scratches to the sides, front and interior. There is small hole about 3cm at the back of the bureau which was used to feed a cable through. It doesn't affect the use of the piece. The antique bureau remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well.  The Overall, a good example of its kind.
