NPT fittings feature a tapered thread design that creates a secure seal through thread interference, allowing for tighter sealing as the connection is properly tightened, and are commonly used in high-pressure applications up to 15,000 psi (1034 bar) and temperatures up to 400°F (204°C), depending on size and operating conditions.

Manufactured from cold worked 316 stainless steel, these NPT caps provide exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and durability in demanding environments while helping protect threads and sealing surfaces from contamination, moisture intrusion, and physical damage during operation, maintenance, storage, or transport. OneXtreme NPT caps require the use of high-quality PTFE tape or thread sealant for proper sealing performance, with special materials available upon request to meet specific application requirements.

Warning: Proper installation is critical.
