-Description
FAVRE-LEUBA is a watch manufacturer founded in 1737 by Abraham Favre in Le Locle, Switzerland.
It is the second oldest watch brand in existence after Blancpain, with a history of more than 280 years.
In the 1960s, we created the first watch equipped with an altimeter, the Viverg, and the Bassi equipped with a depth gauge.
As a pioneer in the design, manufacture and sale of watches, it is one of the brands that has contributed to the development of the Swiss watch industry.
This watch is a hand-wound dress watch from the 1970s. The design features a slightly curved rectangular case.
The case size is 26.5mm in width and 30.5mm in height. Although it was a men's size at the time, it is a size that can be used by women as well.
The case material is gold-plated (GP) stainless steel. The crown is also decorated with a sapphire cabochon, which clearly indicates the high cost.
The dial is a combination of a champagne gold dial with a hairline finish and printed indexes with Roman numerals.
The needle is the same black leaf hand as the index. The design is very simple with only the brand notation, giving the impression of a stylish watch.
The movement is a hand-wound ETA/Puzo 7001. A machine that appeared in 1972 and was also used in Omega's DeVille and NOMOS in his Tangente.
It is a very reliable machine that is still used today.
As you can see in the photo, it is plated with brass color and is very well made.
Although there is a slight feeling of use, it comes with a genuine leather strap, a genuine GP buckle similar to the case, and a leather strap with stitching for replacement.
Overhauled. 1 year warranty.
