The Scarabeo elbow protectors are designed around the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protector, inspired by the geometry of naturally occurring auxetic materials. Upon impact or stress, these expand simultaneously in all directions, increasing the area of coverage. The structure of the protector allows maximum flexibility and adaptability to all arm positions, following the movements of the young rider - whether pedalling or downhill.
The Pro-Shape Scarabeo absorbs 83% of the impact force: so in the event of an impact, the energy is not transferred to the elbow. The surface of the protector is 55% open, which, together with the highly breathable stretch fabric, ensures excellent ventilation and optimal heat exchange even on the hottest days.
