It’s a great choice for creating the ideal wireless audio system for film, television, live broadcast, journalism, and many other applications.
Boasting an OLED display with intuitive menus and controls, the AD3 is packed with features to add professional polish to your sound. Choose between two transmission modes to achieve optimal spectral efficiency: Standard Mode optimizes wireless coverage and low latency, while High Density Mode intensifies the coverage and maxes out the system’s channel count. Other features include wide tuning, secure transmission via its AES 256-bit encryption, 300 feet (100m) line-of-sight operating range, and an automatic input staging functionality that effortlessly improves gain setting.
The AD3 offers convenient power options. Switch between power levels (2/10/35 mW, region dependent). Select between three phantom power options (+12V, +48V, and Off). Use the included pair of AA batteries, or opt for the compatible SB900B lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (sold separately). If using the optional SB900B, you can enjoy up to 8 hours of continuous operation along with precision metering and zero memory effect. The AD3’s USB-C port allows you to power and charge the transmitter externally.
Portable versatility—professional quality. The AD3 is housed in rugged metal chassis that is designed to resist sweat, moisture, and other environmental factors. Its lightweight form factor makes this transmitter ideal for mobile applications. Its patent-pending locking XLR connector design provides a secure, wobble-free connection that’s fast and simple to set up.
The AD3 transmitter comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, two AA batteries, a belt clip with a pouch, and a zippered bag. This digital wireless plug-on transmitter is available in multiple frequency options.
