East End Press is a printing and design studio based in the east end of Glasgow run by Ellie Hodeson. They design colourful decorative objects for your home, and work with crafts people all over the world to create beautiful made objects using traditional crafts and processes. Their work has always been inspired by the traditional crafts and folk art of other cultures so it was a natural progression, and a dream come true for them, to work with printers and crafts people all over the world. All products sold by East End Press are hand printed, hand painted or hand dyed - skilled human hands made these products individually with craftsmanship and care, and that is really special. East End Press believes in treating and paying everyone who works with them fairly, and have personally visited all their manufacturing partners.

The power strip itself is mostly normal. Not too thin, not too bulky, but it's the plug that makes this extra special. It's the thinnest we've found so far, which is excellent for hiding behind furniture that blocks outlets, while this strip still makes power easily accessible. Though I will say I do appreciate the USB A and C ports for charging and find them quite handy for quick charging devices. It is a lot more useful than I originally thought. My main gripe is that the mounting on the back is not the typical X X insets that others have, which allow sliding the screws into any direction, so it can be mounted any direction, and instead are just - - so it can only slide a single direction, which I find much more limited when we mounted these under our kids' desks.

True to size & Use a Drill

Love this! Works perfectly for where I wanted it. I did measure my room incorrectly and thought it would be smaller, thankfully it’s not and thankfully it’s not bigger than the room itself. I did like how the whole thing was move-able but it was a bit annoying so I just added extra clips to the left of the middle one and unscrewed the right of the middle at the bottom so it opens like a door, this did make it a bit flimsy but duck taping it to the wall as anchor it works. 100% recommend, but do suggest a drill and a second set of hands to put it together, due to its size it can be a bit difficult to maneuver putting together yourself. Also if you have a clingy cat like I do, and think this will help keep them out, no, my cat who is very large can manage to squeeze underneath it.
