Engineered from high-strength 3mm 6061 aluminum, this performance expansion tank is built to withstand extreme heat and pressure cycles that often cause factory plastic tanks to crack, leak, or fail. Available in striking black or red anodized finishes, it delivers both durability and a premium look to your engine bay.

This PRL Civic Type R expansion tank and PRL Integra Type S expansion tank more than doubles the coolant capacity over stock — 1.32 quarts (1.25 liters) compared to the OEM 0.58 quarts (0.55 liters). The increased capacity improves the cooling system’s ability to dissipate heat, keeping your engine running at optimal temperatures during demanding driving. Internal baffling helps prevent coolant sloshing and cavitation, while the built-in sight glass makes it easy to check fluid levels at a glance.

Precision laser-cut construction, TIG-welded seams, and billet machined fittings ensure unmatched fit, finish, and reliability.
