The limestone statue is immense, with a length of 73 meters (240 feet) and a height of 20 meters (66 feet). The face of the Sphinx is partially eroded but still conveys a sense of mystery and grandeur. The body of the Sphinx resembles a recumbent lion, symbolizing strength and power.
This statue is made from high-quality hand molded polymer. It was individually hand painted by skilled Egyptian artisans. We work with this artist closely in the ancient bazaar of Khan el-Khalili in Cairo, Egypt.
