The Alpiniå Labs Solid Kitchen Soap Bar is a plant-based
solid soap bar formulated for dishes and hands. Made with
saponified olive oil, castor oil, edible coffee grounds,
Dead Sea salt, and cold-pressed certified organic lemon
essential oil. No SLS. No synthetic preservatives. No
plastic bottle. No palm oil. Manufactured in Cape Coral,
Florida.

This product is a soap bar — not a liquid dish soap.
One bar replaces 2–3 plastic bottles of conventional
liquid dish soap and lasts approximately 2–3 months
with normal daily use stored dry between uses.

WHY SOLID OVER LIQUID
Conventional liquid dish soap is 50–80% water held
in suspension with synthetic preservatives, thickeners,
and stabilisers. A solid soap bar is the formula without
any of that — more concentrated per clean, longer
lasting, and inherently stable without synthetic
preservatives. No plastic bottle required.

Liquid dish soaps require synthetic preservatives such
as methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone to
prevent bacterial growth. Both are well-documented skin
sensitisers. A solid bar is inherently stable. No
preservatives needed. No preservative reactions possible.

THE CHEF INGREDIENTS
Coffee grounds: Edible Coffea Arabica grounds neutralise
garlic, onion, fish, and seafood odour from hands — the
same technique used in professional kitchens and
popularised by culinary icons including Julia Child and
Martha Stewart. Embedded in every bar as a functional
ingredient — not decorative.

Sea salt: Maris Sal provides gentle physical abrasion
that lifts grease and food residue from hands and dish
surfaces without synthetic scrubbing agents. A long-
standing kitchen technique for stubborn food odours.

Lemon essential oil: Cold-pressed certified organic
Citrus Limon peel oil — not synthetic fragrance. The
same essential oil standard as the Alpiniå laundry
range. Paraben-free, phthalate-free. Light, clean,
and genuinely fresh.

HOW TO USE
For dishes: Wet a dish brush or sponge thoroughly.
Rub the bar against the wet brush 3–4 strokes to
build lather. Apply to dishes as normal.

For pots and pans: Rub the bar directly onto the
greasy surface then scrub with a brush or sponge.
The coffee grounds provide extra scrubbing action
on stubborn residue.

For hands: Wet hands and the bar. Work into lather.
The sea salt and coffee grounds neutralise garlic,
onion, and fish odour. Rinse clean.

For cast iron: Use with a brush and minimal water.
Rinse quickly and dry immediately.

STORAGE
Store on a dry soap dish between uses — do not leave
sitting in water. A slotted or elevated soap dish
that allows water to drain away from the bar will
significantly extend its lifespan.

The Epson F170 has been ideal for getting started with sublimation. It's easy to use, prints vibrant and defined colors, and has allowed me to personalize various projects with excellent results. As a beginner, it has given me a lot of confidence to learn and create without complications. I definitely recommend it for anyone starting out in sublimation.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet. The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??) The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me. But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop. In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.
