Marine collagen is a complex structural protein that helps maintain the strength and flexibility of skin, ligaments, joints, bones, muscles, tendons, blood vessels, gums, eyes, nails and hair. It’s a type I collagen, which is the most abundant collagen in the human body and is best known for providing the foundation for beautiful skin, strong connective tissues and sturdy bones. Marine collagen also has antioxidant properties that have been used in skin-care products to prevent or even repair the damage caused by environmental factors, such as UV rays and low humidity, as well as damage associated with the ageing process.

Vitamin C: important for collagen production, it supports skincare by protecting against sunburn, pollution, and ageing by neutralising free radicals. It helps hay fever by acting as a natural antihistamine to reduce the effects of pollen allergy. And it is beneficial to eyesight by preventing the development of age-related cataracts.

300g powder, add 1 level scoop of powder to 250ml water or juice. Collagen dissolves more effectively when shaken rather than stirred. It can be used in a cold or warm drink though it will dissolve better under tepid conditions.
