I absolutely love this lotion. If you want to keep your tan longer, and avoid immediate or even soon after peeling, this really works. To sum, it moisturized, prevented peeling and maintained my tan throughout the spring into the summer. The long story-- I began using this product at the end of spring, right after I returned from a Bahamaian vacation in the early spring. I naturally have a year round tan, but in the sun, I become browner and love to maintain that summer bronze glow that happens when I frolic on the beach for days. I knew it was going to be awhile before I could regularly go to the beach so I saw this product and decided to try. I used to not peel, but once I hit my 30s I began to peel regularly, after tanning. Once I started using this, I did not peel AT ALL. And, my tan did not fade. Yes, I still went to the beach with a base tan (which helps when tanning), but I am sure it would've faded quicker without this product. I also didn't start peeling until I ran out of this product. I use it everyday after getting out of the shower, all over my body. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't seem to bother it at all, and it has a light pleasant smell (not strong coconut-y). I highly recommend! Oh, because it's so light, it may not seem to be absorbing properly, but no worries-- it does, without clogging!

We actually lived on Maui when we discovered Maui Babe, and have been using it ever since. Let me tell you: it is the BEST after sun lotion, bar none. Got a little over-exposed, and are red and hurting? Throw some Maui Babe on, and not only will it relieve the pain (and eventual itching) of sunburn, it'll help prevent peeling later on. "Hey, you really need to get some of THIS for that burn." They always seemed grateful to get steered to something that really worked, instead of the usual lotions and potions that didn't. Anyway, I can highly recommend it, been using it for years, and as a blonde who has lived in Hawaii, southwest Florida, and now down in Panama (where the sun is damned close), I can tell you that it really works. And yes...my last order came all the way to Panama because I can't do without it.
