When to Replace
- Visible cracks, warping, or damage to the plate.
- Worn, compressed, or missing gasket causing suction loss.
- Inability to form a secure connection with the vacuum hose.
Installation Tips
- Turn off the pool pump before starting.
- Remove the skimmer lid and basket.
- Submerge the vacuum hose in the pool to fill it with water and remove all air.
- While keeping the hose submerged, connect its swivel cuff to the vacuum plate.
- Place the plate and hose assembly directly over the skimmer's suction port, ensuring the gasket seals tightly.
- Turn the pump on to begin vacuuming.
