The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir (RR) Rear Shocks with CDCV are a high-performance component of the RXT Rear Suspension System for the 2005-UP Toyota Tacoma. These shocks are specifically designed to be used in conjunction with ICON RXT Multi-Rate Leaf Springs to maximize wheel travel and provide a significant increase in off-road capability. This model includes ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV), which provides 10 levels of external adjustment to tune the ride for various cargo loads or terrain types. The large 2.5-inch diameter body and external reservoirs offer massive oil capacity, ensuring fade-free performance during long-duration off-road adventures.

- CDC Valve (Compression Damping Control): Features an external adjustment knob with 10 notched settings, allowing you to manually tune compression damping for everything from daily street driving to heavy overland hauling.
- RXT Specific Design: Engineered specifically to work with the ICON RXT leaf spring system to provide increased droop travel and optimized suspension geometry for the Tacoma.
- Remote Reservoir: Large aluminum reservoirs significantly increase oil and nitrogen volume for maximum heat dissipation, ensuring consistent damping performance under extreme use.
- Internal Bump Zone: A unique 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates a secondary damping zone that provides an additional 20% of force at the end of the stroke to prevent harsh bottoming out.
- 6061-T6 Aluminum Body: One-piece impact-extruded aluminum shock bodies offer superior corrosion resistance and dissipate heat more efficiently than steel.
- Serviceable Longevity: 100% rebuildable and revalveable, allowing you to maintain or custom-tune the shocks for the life of the vehicle.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Equipped with 7/8-inch chrome-plated hardened steel shafts and high-flow pistons for maximum durability and ride quality.
