In 1964, Charmian Clift and her husband George Johnston returned to Australia after living and writing for many years in the cosmopolitan community of artists on the Greek island of Hydra. Back in Sydney, Clift found her opinions were far more progressive than those of many of her fellow Australians.
This new edition of Charmian Clift’s essays, selected and introduced by her biographer Nadia Wheatley, is drawn from the weekly newspaper column Clift wrote through the turbulent and transformative years of the 1960s. In these ‘sneaky little revolutions’, as Clift once called them, she supported the rights of women and migrants, called for social justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, opposed conscription and the war in Vietnam, acknowledged Australia’s role in the Asia-Pacific, fought censorship, called for a local film industry — and much more. Adorable special occasion suit for boys

I ordered this 3-piece suit for my son and even though it’s currently a little too big for him, I couldn’t resist keeping it because it’s absolutely adorable! The quality really impressed me right out of the package. The fabric feels lightweight and breathable, which will be perfect for warmer weather, and it has a nice polished look without feeling stiff.
The set comes with a blazer, vest, and pants, and each piece is very well made. I love the little details like the lapel on the jacket, the adjustable strap on the vest, and the adjustable waist on the pants, which will definitely help as he grows. It looks like a much more expensive suit than it actually is.
Even though my son will have to grow into it, I’m already excited for him to wear it. I’m thinking it will be perfect for Easter next year or any special occasion. It’s such a cute outfit, and I love that the pieces can be mixed and matched for different looks. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and can’t wait to see him wearing it! The blue color goes well for any occasion and I may have to order my husband a suit in matching shade of blue so they can be twins.

Nice summer suit for my son

I got this linen suit for my 7 year old son and it looks really nice on him. The set comes with the blazer, vest, and pants, which makes it look very polished when worn together.
