We will be meeting at Sister Bay Beach and taking a walk around town to do some sketching/painting. We will work with the same materials Andrea uses to paint including: pre-stretched canvas or paper, small sketchbook, gouache, acrylic paint, water soluble crayons, and oil pastels. All necessary supplies will be provided. However each participant is encouraged to bring a Polaroid or Phone for taking reference photos, a bag for carrying supplies, a water bottle, and a snack.
This is a two-day workshop. We will be walking around Sister Bay to sketch and paint. We will eat lunch in Sister Bay and work to discuss composition, photos we took, and work to start our paintings after lunch. Then we will return to the studio for a second day to finish painting them!
Beginner to advanced- all art skill levels are welcome. Come with an open mind and ready to be creative and paint. Adults only 18+. Portable Plein aire painting stand recommended or blanket to sit.
Supplies for this workshop will be ordered in advance based off the number of purchased tickets and because of this, NO REFUNDS will be issued for this class. Please purchase carefully.
