The Fender Vintera II '60s Telecaster offers classic features found on later model vintage Teles, built to the highest regards in Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility. Dressed in a fan-favorite vintage-inspired finish, Sonic Blue, this Telecaster is made to be played and is chock-full of '60s flare.
The Vintera II '60s Telecaster starts with the classic Fender tonewood formula of an Alder body and Maple neck.This neck features an Early '60s "C" profile, 21 Vintage Tall frets, and a 7.25" radius Slab Rosewood fingerboard. That's right - these Vintera II guitars get Rosewood fingerboards! The first Vintera run would see Pau Ferro fingerboards, and while Pau Ferro is a strong and sustainable substitute for Rosewood, it's most likely you don't think Pau Ferro when you think vintage Fender, and this Vintera II delivers with a Slab Rosewood board.
Other key features of the Vintera II '60s Tele are a 3-Saddle Vintage-Style Tele bridge assembly with Slotted Steel Saddles, Fender Vintage-Style Tuners, Vintage-Style '60s Single Coil Tele pickups in the bridge and neck positions, classic 4-bolt neck joint - and for safety in travel, a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag.
