PRODUCT DETAILS

Hasport FG4RR Rear Engine Mount for 2012–2015 Honda Civic Si

If your 2012–2015 Civic Si feels like the drivetrain is slopping around, lazy shift engagement, clunks, or wheel hop on hard launch, the factory rear mount is usually the culprit. The Hasport FG4RR rear engine mount tightens up the FG4 chassis by controlling engine movement, sharpening throttle response, and keeping everything where it belongs when you actually drive the car hard. Honda tuned the OEM rear mount for comfort first. After 10+ years, that rubber turns into a marshmallow. The engine and trans rock back and forth under acceleration, braking, and shifts, which leads to missed gears, extra shock on the other mounts, and that vague “mushy” feel. The Hasport Civic Si rear mount swaps the stock piece for a much more rigid unit with your choice of bushing stiffness, so you can match it to how you really use the car. Hasport has been a go-to name in Honda mounts for a long time, and this FG4RR is a direct bolt-in for the FG4 Civic Si subframe and factory bracket, no weird universal brackets, no hacking.

Key Benefits

  • Locks down engine movement during acceleration and shifts so the drivetrain stays in line when you’re on it
  • Cleaner, more consistent shift feel because the trans isn’t rotating away from the shifter cables
  • Less wheel hop on launches compared to tired OEM rubber or generic replacement mounts
  • More repeatable throttle response since the engine isn’t rocking back and forth every time you mat it
  • Direct bolt-in replacement for the stock rear engine mount, no cutting, welding, or “universal fit” nonsense
  • Built specifically for the FG4 Civic Si chassis, not a one-size-fits-nothing bracket
If you’re hunting for a Civic 2013 rear engine mount or Civic Si 2012 rear mount that actually fixes drivetrain slop, this is the one most people end up buying once they’re done experimenting.

Precision You Can Actually Feel

The Hasport FG4RR rear engine mount uses proper CAD/CAM development, so the geometry, alignment, and clearances actually make sense in an FG4 engine bay. On these cars, keeping the engine where Honda intended is a big deal, especially if you’re launching hard or running sticky tires. By cutting down engine rotation more than the factory piece, this Hasport Civic Si engine mount helps keep axle angles, exhaust clearance, and shifter linkage geometry much more consistent. In practice, the car feels tighter, more predictable, and more connected, instead of the engine trying to leave the bay every time you clutch-kick it. This isn’t a “close enough, drill a new hole” mount. Hasport builds the FG4RR specifically around the 2012–2015 Civic Si layout, which is why it behaves better than bargain mounts that claim to fit everything.

Urethane Durometer Options Explained

You get four urethane options on this Hasport rear mount for the 2012 Civic and up, all the way to the 2015 Si. Pick wrong and you’ll either hate the vibration or still hate the wheel hop, so it’s worth a minute to choose correctly.
  • 62A Urethane (U62A – Street)
Softest of the bunch. Ideal if you daily the car and want a vibration minimizing engine mount that still fixes the worst of the slop. NVH goes up slightly over dead stock, but it’s totally livable for a commuter that still hits a backroad now and then.
  • 70A Urethane (U70A – Track/Spirited Street)
The “I actually drive this thing hard” Civic performance rear mount. Noticeably stiffer than stock, much better control, but NVH is still reasonable. Good match for bolt-on FG4s, occasional track days, and people who don’t mind a bit more feedback.
  • 88A Urethane (U88A – Race/Heavy Track)
For aggressive street builds and regular track work. Engine movement is basically gone, shifts feel locked in, and launches are more repeatable. Expect clear vibration at idle and low RPM—this isn’t the bushing for someone hunting luxury-car vibes.
  • 94A Urethane (U94A – Extreme)
The stiffest Hasport bushing Civic Si 2012 option. Aim this at drag, time attack, or any car that spends most of its life on track or trailer. Maximum drivetrain control, maximum NVH. If you daily your FG4, don’t pretend you’ll love this one.
If your car is mainly street use, U62A or U70A is the smart call. If the car sees more grid than grocery runs, U88A or U94A will keep the driveline locked down the way you want.

My coffee is now judging your coffee.
I’m a simple man. All I wanted was decent foam on my morning coffee without paying $7 at Starbucks like a sucker. What I got instead is this charcoal black, LED-equipped, triple-whisk, rocket-powered milk frother that feels like it should have a NASA logo on it. This thing has three speeds and an actual digital battery display. I caught myself staring at the 1% accuracy battery percentage like it was the stock market. “We’re at 87%… we’re still frothing kings today.” The magnetic charging dock is so satisfying it should be illegal. I literally say “goodnight” to it when I put it back on the stand. The spring whisk? Velvety microfoam so perfect my wife asked if I was having an affair with a barista. The balloon whisk made whipped cream so fluffy my kids thought it was a cloud that fell into their hot chocolate. And the hook whisk? Blended my protein shake with zero lumps, a miracle previously only achieved by professional athletes and people with patience. Battery life is ridiculous. I’ve been using it twice a day for two weeks and it’s still at 64%. This frother could survive a zombie apocalypse better than I could. The only real downside? I now judge other people’s coffee foam in public. Saw a sad flat latte the other day and whispered “that man doesn’t own the Dropology frother…” If you like coffee, matcha, hot chocolate, or just feeling like a kitchen god, buy this immediately. It’s the most over-engineered $30-ish gadget I’ve ever loved. 10/10 would froth again.

Powerful and I love the charging base and attachments
This is surprisingly more powerful than I thought it would be. It will whip up an egg for scrambled eggs as well as froth your milk. It came with 3 attachments and a charging base. You can charge it using the base or directly in to the frother using the included usbc. I have had battery operated frothers that really weren't that great. This one is blows them all away. I use it mainly to stir my coffee and scramble my eggs and I'm sure I will find many more ways to use it. Its a great value and looks nice on my counter top.

Can't turn it off quickly. Charging stand falls over easily.
This Electric Milk Frother Handheld: Wireless Starlight Black comes with three stainless steel mixer attachments, a charging cable, and a stand that holds the frother with magnets. The attachments are friction fit, they are easy to change and stay securely in place. The frother has three speeds, the speed changes by pressing the On button. Which is why I deducted one star. The problem is you can not turn the frother off quickly. You have to either cycle through the speeds, or hold the button for 2 seconds. When making a chocolate drink, I could not turn the frother off when my drink was about to spill and it made a mess. I recommend getting a frother with a momentary on off button that you hold down to keep it running and let off to stop it. I removed a second star because the base of the charger is narrow and light making it easy to fall over. It has to be taped to the counter with double sided tape.

Impressive Power and Convenience Right Out of the Box
I just got this electric milk frother, and after only a few uses I’m already impressed. It has strong, consistent power that turns milk into smooth, velvety foam in seconds — perfect for lattes, cappuccinos, or even mixing matcha. The LED display is a surprisingly premium touch, making it easy to see and switch between speeds. The fact that it’s rechargeable is a huge plus, and the 3‑in‑1 attachments give it more versatility than most handheld frothers. The charcoal black finish looks sleek and modern, and the build feels solid so far. Even with just a handful of uses, it’s clear this frother delivers great performance and convenience. A fantastic little upgrade to any coffee routine — definitely a 5‑star start.

I love it!
Color: Black, Size: Rechargeable
This thing works great! It holds a charge for a long time. I love that it has different attachments. I use it mainly for mixing powder into my drinks. It is very powerful. The speed is adjustable too. It feels good to hold too. It lights up when you squeeze the trigger and when it starts losing charge, the light bar gets shorter. I highly recommend it.
