These systems are paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes. The wood is described as reclaimed, but it’s pretty much cheap, light wood with a stain. They still look good and are sturdy. The pipes has some silver paint brushed on them to give them a distressed look. I thought it was actually a little cheesy looking, but I happened to have iron-colored spray paint, so I just respirated them.
