小林節正と甲斐一彦によるコンセプトライン「Ph」スタート。 「MOUNTAIN RESEARCH」小林節正氏と「BAMBOO SHOOTS」甲斐一彦によるコンセプトライン 「Ph」が2021SSよりスタートしました。

甲斐一彦が敬愛する小林節正氏は目黒川のほとりで26年、「ジェネラルストア」を営んできた、言わば中目黒の大先輩でもあります。

師弟のような関係の2人がモチーフとしたのは共通で愛聴しているアメリカのジャムバンド「Phish」。 Phishのファンは、「Phan(ファン)」と呼ばれ、「F」の文字をPhishの「Ph」に置換することは 自分たちの居場所を表すための言葉遊びとして世界中のPhanたちに親しまれている表現です。 遡ること1968年。

アポロ8号による人類初の月周回飛行を行った宇宙飛行士、ウィリアム・アーンダースが 月の向こう側に浮かぶ地球を写真に収めました。

自分たちの世界を外の世界から見た初めての光景。それは「パラレルにもうひとつの世界がある」という概念につながりました。

プロテスタントの教養でがんじがらめにされてきた60年代、がんじがらめにされた大人の社会からの脱却。 これまでの世界から、新たな世界へ。

自由への強烈な欲求や喜びが爆発した70年代。 果てしない自由を追い求めた70年代にわたしたちは、憧れるのです。

もしもPHISHヘッズだけの国があったら。

FINLANDではなくPHINLAND。

国旗のデザインをあしらったPhのロゴを左胸にプリント。 ボディにはアメリカを代表するルーズなシルエットのコーチジャケット。

It’s not a deal breaker and it doesn’t impact the comfort, it might even make them more comfortable, but they look a bit large on my foot. And if you have a narrow foot, you might be swimming in these.
