There is indeed a firm tannic structure but with an additional envelope of fresh red fruit, a little acidity to finish. It will be interesting to follow this wine to see how Thibault’s gamble plays out. A 2021 for the longer term.

0.75 hectares of vines, 40% of which were planted in 1992 and 60% in 1944. Our plot is located in the southern part of the appellation, at the angle of the wall separating Les Echézeaux from Clos-Vougeot in the lieu dit of Les Baudes Basses.
