For those unfamiliar, Easy Action is fronted by John Brannon, former vocalist for the highly regarded LAUGHING HYENAS and of early 80's hardcore legends NEGATIVE APPROACH. On bass is Ron Sakowski, another Detroit punk veteran, bringing his experiences from THE NECROS and the LAUGHING HYENAS to the band. Guitarist Harold Richardson is best known for his experiments with the noise rock band GRAVITAR during the mid 90's, and drummer Jon LeMay rocked with THRALL before joining Easy Action. After two sold-out singles and many packed shows, Easy Action hooked up with producer Al Sutton (DETROIT COBRAS, LAUGHING HYENAS, KID ROCK) at Rust Belt Studios to unleash this self titled debut LP, a scathing rock testimonial, stripped of pretense and vanity, honest and in your face!

So I’ll start by saying that I’ve bought many Bedsure products in the past. This one does not disappoint, but I also don’t feel like it’s 5 stars. It washed well and feels nice. Overall it’s a great duvet cover, but there’s three things I don’t personally like: 1. The price. Compared to their other covers, this one seems steep (though it’s probably the material that makes it more expensive?). 2. The material is somewhat shiny. I wasn't expecting that, and I don’t dig it. I’ve never had a cover that shines like this one does. 3. Pet hair retention is especially noticeable on this darker duvet (see photo). I’m sure this is either the fabric or the weave that causes this. For these three things, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. That said, if you can snag this during a sale (and you don’t have pets or don’t mind hair clinging to the cover), go for it!

Yes, it’s organic cotton! After buying two other “100 % organic cotton” duvet covers on Amazon that turned out to be polyester/blends, I was happy to find an honest company and product. The duvet cover washes well, had no detectable odor out of the package, and is a good weight. I love the hidden zipper closure and find that it gets softer with use. I hope the zipper stays intact with prolonged use and gentle wash cycle. Note that I almost bought this in white but realized it’s a different material (bamboo) based on the product description. If you are looking at different colors, check the material carefully before buying.

It’s also not too stiff, unless you want that then you can easily iron it to be that way. I prefer it right out of the washer and dryer for a classy but cozy look!
