3387134 Cycling Thermostat & Multi-Fuse Safety Kit

Key Features

  • Dual-Pack Cycling Precision: Includes two 3387134 cycling thermostats to ensure accurate drum temperature regulation across multiple heat settings (High, Medium, Low).
  • Comprehensive 5-Piece Safety Overhaul: This all-in-one kit provides a total system refresh, including the cycling thermostats, high-limit thermostat, and two distinct safety thermal fuses.
  • 3392519 Blower Protection: Features the critical one-time thermal fuse located on the blower housing, designed to shut off the dryer if the exhaust airflow becomes dangerously restricted.
  • 3977393 & 3977767 High-Limit Duo: Provides a secondary layer of protection on the heater box, preventing the heating element from overheating due to a stuck relay or blocked vent.
  • OEM-Grade Calibration: All components are factory-calibrated to original specifications, ensuring a 1:1 direct fit and reliable performance in 29-inch wide Whirlpool-built dryers.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Cycling Thermostat: 3387134, 3387135, 3387139, AP3069101, PS344596.
  • Thermal Fuse: 3392519, WP3392519, 3388651, 697354, AP6008325.
  • Thermal Cut-Off: 3977393, WP3977393, 3399693, AP3131941.
  • High-Limit Thermostat: 3977767, 3399693, PS351171, AP3131941.

Compatibility & Fitment

This kit is the universal thermal repair solution for most Whirlpool-manufactured dryers produced over the last 30 years. Key compatible brands include:

  • Whirlpool & Kenmore: Fits most 70, 80, 90, and 110 series models (e.g., 110.66722501).
  • Maytag & Amana: Compatible with many Centennial, Bravos, and traditional top-load matching electric and gas dryers.
  • KitchenAid, Roper, & Estate: A direct fit for dozens of mid-range and heavy-duty cabinet dryers.
  • Note: While the fuses and thermostats fit both, the heating element (sold separately) is required for electric models.

When to Replace

  • No Heat / Cold Drum: The dryer spins normally, but the air remains cold—typically caused by a blown 3392519 thermal fuse or a faulty high-limit thermostat.
  • Dryer Won't Start: On many models, if the 3392519 blower fuse blows, the motor will not engage as a safety precaution to prevent fire.
  • Dryer Shuts Off Mid-Cycle: The thermal cut-off (3977393) has tripped due to excessive internal heat, often caused by a restricted exhaust vent.
  • Inaccurate Drying Times: A faulty 3387134 cycling thermostat can cause the dryer to run for hours or shut off while clothes are still damp.
  • Overheating Cabinet: The exterior of the dryer feels dangerously hot to the touch, indicating a thermostat has stuck in the "closed" position.

Installation Tips

  • Safety First: Unplug the dryer (Electric) or turn off the gas and unplug (Gas) before beginning. 240V electricity can be lethal—never test a "live" circuit.
  • Component Locations: The 3392519 fuse is located on the white blower housing. The 3387134, 3977393, and 3977767 are typically located on the silver heater box or burner funnel.
  • Clean the Vent Line: Before installing the new parts, professionally clean your dryer's exhaust duct. 90% of thermal failures are caused by lint buildup restricting airflow.
  • Vacuum the Chassis: While the back panel is removed, vacuum out all accumulated lint from the bottom of the dryer to prevent a fire hazard for your new parts.
  • Check the Terminals: Look for burnt or discolored wire connectors. If a connector is loose, crimp it slightly with pliers to ensure a tight, low-resistance fit on the new thermostat.

Hot twists
Format: Kindle
This will keep you on your toes toes in a hot twisty mess. You want to love, hate and root for whom is the big question. I’m quickly getting the next book because it ends on a cliffhanger and damn, it’s got me ready to tear into it!

Ends in a cliffhanger
Format: Kindle
Thankfully, the next book is already available. Roxy Collins is the queen of omegaverse slow burn. This particular series is omegaverse with wolf shifters. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Lots of suspense and trying to figure out what is true and what's really going on. I loved it! Pretty spicy once the action starts. Heats are pretty much always spicy. There is a little bit of male interaction, but not full-on shmex. Definitely recommend.

Epic!!!!
Format: Kindle
Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.
