Children will love looking at the big, brightly coloured machines in Big Wheels. Each vehicle puzzle is made up of either 4 or 8 pieces, so very simple for little fingers. There is a bright green and yellow cement mixer, a yellow excavator, a blue bulldozer and a red digger, each with a cheerful driver waving from the cab. As well as the four vehicles, there are 8 additional play pieces, so children can create little scenes with the different elements; these include a wheelbarrow, two traffic cones, two piles of bricks, a pile of sand with a spade, a barrier, and a bucket and trowel. This is one of our best-selling puzzles, particularly popular with little boys, and is especially suited to children aged 3 and over. The puzzles are made with durable, thick card with a wipe-clean surface, so they will withstand plenty of handling. Children can be encouraged to talk about the different vehicles and the jobs they do, so helping with their vocabulary skills. Younger children can be given the pieces for each puzzle separately, whereas older children can be encouraged to decide which pieces belong to which puzzle before putting the puzzles together.
