Carcassonne 20th Anniversary Edition is the 2021 edition of the game to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the games Spiel des Jahres win in 2001. It includes ‘The River’ expansion with additional river tiles and ‘The Abbot’ expansion. Both of these expansions are considered 2 essential expansions for Carcassonne and feel right at home being included as standard. The 20th Anniversary Edition also comes with its own brand-new mini-expansion for you to explore. The tiles in this edition have also been improved. Each tile comes laden with pristine UV print with updated artwork. The artwork also has little winks and nods to other Carcassonne games for you to find. The artwork itself is crisper than the original and its expansions, but not different enough to look out of place if you want to mix and match. It has been created to be compatible with all past and future Carcassonne products. 20th Anniversary Edition also comes with costume stickers for the meeples for added personality and distinction.
