An iconic retrospective panoramic map of Tudor London in 1563 (before the Great Fire), engraved and published October 30th 1780 by John Wallis N16, Ludgate Street, London. The map is based on earlier and larger map by Ralph Agas. Reference to most significant buildings located in insets.

Elizabethan London shown as it was when the population was around 200.000. The river Thames, the Old London Bridge and the Southwark Cathedral are in the foreground. St. Pauls Cathedral is depicted without the spire, which was destroyed by lightning in 1561. On the South Bank there are Shakespeare’s first Globe Theatre and Bull-Baiting Ring. The city of London shown with walls and gates, reaching north up to St. Giles and Cripplegate, with the Tower of London on the right.

John Wallis (died 1818) was an English book, map, board game and music seller, and cartographer. Wallis has opened the Map Warehouse in 1775, and the Instructive Toy Warehouse in 1805. Together with his sons John Wallis Jr. and Edward Wallis, he became one of the most prolific publishers of board games in the late 18 and early 19th centuries.

This poster is a high quality "giclée" reproduction of a painstakingly restored antique original, custom-printed on Standard Single-weight Matt Coated art paper 140gsm or  Heavyweight Matt Coated art paper 230gsm (more of a thin card density), or superb Epson Matt Canvas 320gsm, according to your choice. We use the latest UltraChromeHDX pigment inks which guarantee 60 years of colour  permanence (up to 200 years fade-proof for colour prints).  This poster is suitable for mounting and framing, as well as direct display on a wall.

Please note the XLarge size option print would have white border approximately 2-3mm all around, for a buyer to trim.

This high-resolution, museum-grade fine art print is produced from a unique restored image. Printed on premium archival-quality art paper or canvas, it makes a striking addition to any interior as wall décor or a poster, and a memorable gift for lovers of antique and vintage maps, collectors of historic prints, historians, and explorers. Almost indistinguishable from the original Georgian engraving, it adds character and interest to a study, library, or office wall. It also makes a thoughtful gift for all occasions, including Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, and Father's or Mother's Day.

This was really easy to set up and really works to decide the room. The material is dark enough that you have your privacy. Good for the price

Over all review
Color: Black
It’s not a bad divider, the instructions are okay but once I figured it out on my own it was easy. The quality is fine I like how it’s made of metal. The only downside is fall for me is the height. I’m 5”4” yet it’s suppose to be 6 feet tall but it seems to be a little shorter than that. If it was taller and the instructions a little more clear it would get 5 stars.

valuable room divider
Color: Black
This room divider is fantastic! It’s sturdy, lightweight, and super easy to move around. The panels stand firmly without wobbling, and the design adds a nice touch to the room. It creates privacy instantly and works great for separating spaces in my bedroom or office. The material feels durable, and it folds up easily for storage. Perfect for small apartments or anyone needing a quick room solution. Highly recommend
