【CATHE(カテ)とは】
1961年にカリフォルニア州トーランスで創業したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。当初はSarahCoventry社のように、ホームパーティーで形式でジュエリーを販売していました。高価で珍しいカラーのアートガラスや、イミテーションの宝石を使用した同社のジュエリーは収集価値が高いとされ、コスチュームジュエリーの本にもよく掲載されています。1984年に営業を終了。
