Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, Borla(r) 'S patented SwitchFire(r) design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom aggressive sound. Strategically placed heat shielding is included to prevent exhaust heat damage and protect your Corvette. It comes with 4" round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. Using Borla(r) Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Systems are also available with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, or carbon fiber tips. The system is constructed using T-304 stainless steel and is backed by our Million Mile Warranty. System ships in 2 boxes. Note: After installation of the Borla(r) system, the controllers for the AFM/ DFM and NPP valves in the exhaust system should be RE-CALIBRATED according to GM Document ID 5406413. Borla(r) recommends taking your car to a Chevrolet dealer for the recalibration service.
