When we opened the case the Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top immediately impressed us all. The top is lined with grained ivoroid binding and a 28 style black maple fiber rosette.
After strumming our first chord on it we realized it is a fingerpickers dream with its slotted headstock, shorter scale length and wider nut width. The combination of spruce, rosewood and vintage hide glue make this guitar resonate like a guitar twice its size. This guitar is an absolute joy to play. The modified low oval neck profile fits perfectly in your hand and its low, fast action makes it even easier.
This instrument was made with the best materials that the legendary Martin Guitar Company has to offer and it was made by the best craftspeople they employ in their illustrious Custom Shop.
This is easily one of the best sounding and well-built guitars that we have ever had the pleasure of having here. This is truly a one of a kind.
