VEINSIGHT™ VS500 Vein Finder
The VEINSIGHT™ VS500 Vein Finder is a perfect combination of near-infrared light, the latest vein visualisation technologies and a unique image processing system that makes it easy for healthcare professionals to perform successful venipuncture on patients with poor vein conditions. It is applicable to adults as well as infants and small children.

While using the vein finder, a two-dimensional image of the superficial vessels projects onto the patient's skin. Thanks to a large selection of modes and other practical functions, this can be optimised and adapted to the patient-specific conditions, so that, for example, the depth mode can also detect and display deep-seated structures. To further facilitate the puncture of the vein in the subsequent process, the device automatically displays a centre line marking on the illustrated veins.

To always maintain the correct distance during projection and to ensure a perfect display, the VS500 vein finder also has an integrated distance sensor. This gives the user an orientation by means of a traffic light display at which distance he should position and apply the device.

If required, optionally available accessories such as a suitable rolling stand for flexible use, as well as a stable table stand or a lockable table mount are available. These allow unrestricted work with both hands.

The VEINSIGHT™ VS500 Vein Finder enables users to save images of patient-specific veins and export them to a computer.

Especially in vascular surgery, this is perfect for monitoring the course of certain interventions. Thus, changes can be observed, which is also a relevant aspect in research.

Precise Localisation of Puncturable Veins
Patients with poor vein conditions are a challenge in everyday practice. Not only the tedious search for suitable veins for blood sampling, but also incorrect punctures can be effectively avoided with the VEINSIGHT™ VS500 Vein Finder.

It provides a comprehensive assessment of vein conditions and displays accurate centreline marking on the veins to ensure optimal puncture conditions. The convenient memory function also allows healthcare professionals to keep a visual record of suitable veins.

A great read for those who want in depth knowledge about MS Active Directory & related services

Reviewer: 20 yrs training and consulting experience with Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, all major hypervisors, and cloud services. Active Directory along with all the related services and features are complex and many faceted topics. Books showing step by step examples are easy to come by, although not very useful since there’s plenty of Microsoft online help with the same info. What’s more important is to understand the features and related services and how to use them properly and securely. This book covers in great detail Active Directory and the related services and features. There’s also plenty of information and expertise from a security perspective. With the move to cloud services and more employees are working from home there’s a whole new level of security issues to contend with. This book contains lots of in-depth explanations that allow you to understand why certain features and services exist and how to use them. This extra depth and the author’s experience is what makes this book special. I would recommend this book for IT Professionals that already have some AD knowledge and experience. My only qualification is that I occasionally found some of the explanations confusing even after reading them over a several times. I would highly recommend this book for those who wish to understand, configure and design an AD infrastructure along with associated services including OU design, group policy, object management delegation, ADFS, Certificate Services, etc. Although the book is not about Azure AD it does cover some aspects including integrating with on-prem AD.

Detailed coverage of Active Directory
Format: Kindle
I spent several years very close to active directory but haven’t followed developments in recent years. I was interested in this book as a refresher on what’s new in the last 8-10 years – and it did not disappoint. The chapter on Advanced AD Management with PowerShell does a great job providing some background, setting the stage for why we’d want to know this, and providing some brief descriptions of various cmdlets that might be needed. My last experience with PowerShell/Active Directory required the Quest module, so seeing these native cmdlets is a nice change. The chapter on AD FS is very detailed, providing a history of the functionality, deployment topologies and considerations, as well as details on configuring the required components. This is a topic I was not familiar with before seeing this book, and it did a good job bringing me up to speed on the feature. I have not made it all the way through this book, but the sections I have completed are very good. If you are looking for a thorough reference guide on the current state of Active Directory, you should check out this book.

If you purchased an earlier release of this book and was wondering if this one is worth getting, the answer is yes!! The biggest change is this edition thoroughly covers the latest and greatest, Windows Server 2022. It walks through security issues, the differences between this and previous versions of Windows Server and how to design and deploy a functional and secure Server 2022 Active Directory. I enjoyed reading through this book and highly recommend it!
