This home offers the perfect shelter for these small, feathered friends, with its slanted roof featuring a significant overhang to protect the interior of the house from precipitation, while ventilation slots on either side of the roof keep the interior temperature regulated and comfortable. Angled corners on the base of the home offer drainage, and the 1" diameter entry hole lends fabulous protection for wrens within the roost, preventing larger birds and predators from accessing the cavity. The durable, rough hewn pine construction allows nestlings to garner a secure grip when they are exiting the nest, and one side panel lifts upward for easy cleaning and regular nest checks. You pay for the quality you get. I think they’re thick & soft enough and the coloring is spot on. However, like other reviews, it was shipped not inside an Amazon box but the actual company slip packaging & the tape was already off with some of the pillow cover sticking out. They should change how they ship them, I would have given it 5 stars.

Why would you want anything else?

I don’t know why anyone would want pillow cases that don’t fit the pillow. These are “envelope” style meaning the pillow tucks inside them for a perfect fit—no “leftover” pillowcase sticking out on the end. They’re very soft and cooling and I have so far bought ones for every bed in my house and will be getting more as extras. Highly recommend!
