The Radial EXTC-SA is not an effect pedal itself, however, it does work to breathe new life into music utilizing effect pedals. Designed to take the line level balanced output from a recording interface, the EXTC-SA converts said output into an instrument level high-Z output optimized for effect pedals. What this means is that the balanced output from a recording interface can be fed through a pedalboard and back into itself for new conclusions in recording. With the EXTC-SA, guitar effects can be brought to previously unseen places, like on completely acoustic instruments. Take recordings from your interface and loop in some of your favorite effect pedals to see where your imagination takes you. The EXTC features Radial's class-A buffer and transformer isolation for high audio quality and hum elimination throughout the routing process.
