メタリックな煌めきを放つラインストーンと曲線的なフォルムが美しい、1960年代ワイスのイヤリング。ラインストーンにはオーロラ加工が施されており、ルビーレッドをベースにブルー、パープル、イエローと玉虫色に輝きます。角度により表情を変えるその強い輝きは、吸い込まれるような美しさ。長い年月を経ても色褪せることなく、お顔周りを印象的に彩ってくれます。
【WEISS(ワイス)とは】
Albert Weissがデザイナーとして在籍していたCoroから独立し、1942年にNYで設立したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。WEISS本人がデザインを手掛け、制作も自社工場で行われました。WEISSのジュエリーは、オーストリア製の高品質なラインストーンを贅沢に使用した華やかなデザインが特徴。ラインストーンはその色と輝きが最も美しく見えるよう、一石ずつ手作業で爪留めされました。また、WEISSはその絶妙で印象的な色使いから「色の魔術師」と称されました。会社は1971年に閉業しましたが、そのクオリティの高さから現在もなおコレクターを魅了しています。
