Join our instructor Shane for this 12-week Level 2 wheel throwing course, designed for students who are ready to move on from foundational skills.

Across the term, you’ll refine your technique and build consistency on the wheel, focusing on improving form, control, and efficiency. The course covers advanced throwing and trimming, working with more complex shapes, and developing a cohesive body of work. You’ll also expand your glazing knowledge, exploring surface finishes and decoration to complement your forms.

Classes run Monday evenings from 19:00 - 21:30, giving you dedicated studio time each week to practice, experiment, and receive individual guidance. By the end of the 12 weeks, you’ll have produced and glazed a collection of finished pieces that reflect your progress and personal style.

This course offers a supportive but challenging environment, ideal for those ready to move beyond the basics and push their wheel throwing further.
