The heavier duty Stihl HS 56 C-E petrol hedge trimmers are perfect for trimming thicker hedges and for semi professional use. Double-sided cutting blades at 60cm blade length with tip protector prevents damage to both the blade and the gear but also to vegetation that lies near the hedges and shrubs like natural stone walling. It also makes it easier to cut ground cover plants.
These petrol hedgetrimmers also feature the Stihl ErgoStart which facilitates easy starting. The STIHL ErgoStart (E) halves the effort required to start the hedge cutter while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action. The electronic ignition module is fully encapsulated to protect it from damp and dirt whilst ensuring reliable starting and trouble-free running.
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. Stihl developed an anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
The long-life air filter system ensures longer cleaning intervals and better protection of the hedgecutters engine.
