1990年代当時、プロケッズの生産拠点だったコロンビア工場の生産終了に伴い、日本国内で「ラストコロンビア〈LAST COLOMBIA〉」が叫ばれるように。
特に「ロイヤルプラス〈ROYAL PLUS〉」はその人気もあいまって、ストリートシーンを中心に、プロケッズの名が広く知られるきっかけになったモデルです。日本限定モデル-Japan ExclusiveとなってVibram Mega Gripなど使用されアップデートされ復活しました。
