In Tilted Texture, simple textures come together to create an elegant and reversible shawl, perfectly adapted to advanced beginners!  But in Striped Tilted Texture, this version of the pattern combines three beautiful colors to really make the different sections pop.

This piece begins with just two stitches and gradually grows into a right triangle. As you knit, you encounter one textured stitch pattern after another. The variety keeps the project interesting, and the stitch patterns are simple, perfect for social or travel knitting.  When Tilted Texture is worn, its lines are tilted on the diagonal, creating a lovely, eye-catching effect (which makes it look more complicated than it really is).

The designer recommends solid or semi-solid colors for this project to enhance the pattern.  Weissman also states that this pattern can be made in Fingering up to DK weight yarn; just remember that the shawl will grow larger (and require extra yardage and bigger needles) on thicker yarn.  Written instructions and charts are provided for both Tilted Texture & Striped Tilted Texture.  (But please note that only the solid version is perfectly reversible.)

ALTERNATE SPORT/DK YARN: Arroyo by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/335 yds): 1 skein of each color.  Arroyo is a sport/light DK weight yarn that is kettle-dyed in small batches to create beautiful variegations.

ALTERNATE SPORT YARN: O-Wash Sport by O-Wool (100% Machine Washable Certified Organic Merino Wool; 100g/304 yds):1 skein of each color.  Use Sheep Laurel, Night Heron & Sunfish to closely match shawl images.  O-Wool is milled and dyed in the United States using environmentally friendly dyes and the GOTS compound for machine washable wool without harsh superwash treatments.  The super soft merino wool feels natural, pliable, and luxurious.  O-Wool has been discontinued, but we still have stock!  Please click the link above to select your favorite remaining colors, and enter them into "Notes" at checkout.

Huge upgrade from using Eco-tank with sublimation ink.
Model: 500N STD
Wife has been using converted eco-tank printers for a few years with many struggles. The print quality and final result with the Sawgrass prints is a far higher quality and better result!

Good Prints for Sublimation
Model: 500N STD, Model: 500N STD
After years of using converted printers for sublimation, I finally decided to go with the Sawgrass printer, which is specifically designed for sublimation. The printer turned out to be very nice! I’m particularly happy about the Sawgrass customer service they provide. Follow-up. I ordered the SG500 printer bundle from Amazon, but unfortunately, the prints had visible grid lines. I promptly reached out to Sawgrass customer service, and after a few emails, they figured out that the printer I received was faulty. It was all resolved within a few hours, which was way faster than I had expected. They immediately sent me a replacement machine and the prints are absolutely beautiful for my sublimation projects. Sawgrass customer service is truly amazing! Over the past three months, I have been using the Sawgrass printer and have identified a shortcoming that I would like to share in my review. While the prints produced by the Sawgrass printer are satisfactory, they fall short of the quality achieved with a printer I previously used for several years. This printer required a conversion to sublimation printing. I have sent a note to Sawgrass inquiring about potential solutions to this issue a couple of months ago, but I have not yet received a response. This suggests that the company may not have a viable remedy. You be the judge. I followed Sawgrass recommendations and used the Sawgrass Print Utility, but no matter what changes I make, the converted printer seems to produce prints much more to my liking. Both of the book markers shown were sublimated at the same time. In the future, when I have an order to complete, I will be opting to use the more affordable printer that I converted.
